There is a high risk of serious injury to the lower extremities during human drop landing. Prophylactic knee and ankle braces are commonly used reduce by restraining motion joints. However, that restrain joint range (ROM) may have detrimental effects on user’s kinematical performance function. The present study aimed propose novel set double-joint evaluate its protective in terms knee. Accordingly, finite element method was performed investigate biomechanical responses braced unbraced conditions. results showed semi-rigid support at can share impact force would otherwise be inflicted one’s extremity, thereby reducing peak stress inferior articular surface tibia, menisci, cartilages, as well horizontal talus. Moreover, with bending, elongated spring component convert kinetic energy into elastic potential spring; meanwhile, retractive generated also provides more balanced interaction between menisci cartilages. This analysis accordingly provide inspiration for new approaches place landings.
